Hi there, I’m Heather and welcome to Urban Hound! Both here in this picture, and every day at work, I have the great fortune of being surrounded by my boys. The more distinguished looking fella is my spouse of over 30 years Kevin, and the two strapping young men are our oldest sons Jack and Sam. The smiley little love bug is our best, good girl, Murphy the Wonder Dog, who brings unbridled joy and enthusiasm to our world every day.
Urban Hound represents the culmination of our life’s passion. We wanted to find a way to work together as a family, while doing what we love and building something rooted in our beliefs and values. Caring for and sharing the love of pets has been a foundational part of our family from the very beginning and now we’re striving every day to extend that same spirit to our furry friends and their parents in the greater Reno-Tahoe community.

I have four cats myself and grew up with dogs, hamsters, fish and everything in between, I love all life and find joy in caring for it. |
